I have an 08 Tacoma SR5 AC that did not come with the compass/outside temp. One thing I've always liked is to know what the outside temp is.

How could I add this to my truck? Would I need to replace the overhead console or is there a better solution?

I thought about buying an indoor/outdoor temp sensor like you can for your home, but i dont think it would look as nice as something more built in.

    Thanks!

you could find a new rear view mirror on ebay with temp in it and swap it out. you can grab power from the map lights

I have a wireless sensor velcro taped to one of the cubbies in my truck bed. keep the little display in the front of the cab. Does the trick when I need it. Its a $14 accuweather from Wal Mart.
