    I got this flowmaster super 40 muffler off of Amazon.com for a good price & I think it sounds pretty good. It sounds good in the lower RPM's & does not have an annoying drone at higher RPM's on highway. I'm pretty happy with it, thought some of you might be interested in hearing it if your in the market.

    That's correct, the muffler was $75 off of Amazon & I did keep stock pipes (for now). Thnx!

    How did you swap mufflers? What size inlet/outlet? Any pics of it installed? I was going to do a muffler swap and just use a tailpipe expander to make the muffler fit over the stock pipe.

    I took it to meineke & they installed it. It was 2.25" inlet & 2.25" outlet & they installed it in about an hour. Install was $75 so total was $150 including muffler. I'm happy with it & how it sounds for what I paid.

    Yeah, I love Amazon & find lots of great deals on there. I would love that V8 rumble as well but this will have to do for now & it's much better then stock IMO.
