I just bought an 2006 TRD off road six speed a couple months ago and I'm very fond of the truck but after getting home with the truck I realized that three out of the 4 doors have no response to either the keypad or both lock switches on the driver and passenger doors. The only door that unlocks and locks electronically is the front driverside. Any thoughts/ideas/common issues or best way to go about checking this issue and fixing it? Much appreciated.

Keypad doesn't respond either? I know each window has it's own fuse... I wonder if the locks do too.

you just need to buy a new switch for the drivers side door. IIRC they all run through that, and i dont think its very expensive. as for auto door locks, i dont think our taco has them... at least mine doesnt automatically lock when you go above 5mph then unlock when you put it in park. my jeep POS grand cherokee used to that...

my 2000 tacoma will do that. As soon as I turn the key on it locks. Just depending on how its programmed.
