Homemade snorkel????

Has anyone done this? Thoughts?

 

Seen one on a first gen but not a second. Why not fork over the money for a good one on your expensive taco ?

 

I would not recommend that.
Home made bumpers and sliders are one thing, but home made snorkel will almost always look like crap.

LOL seriously? THAT looks better than snorkel? Whats better cutting up cab's floor or fender?

 

there was a post on here somewhere of a guy that did a lot of desert driving and he made one go thru the stock hole in the side wall the ran it down to the the bottom of the passanger side under the glove box. i think it was in a thread about homemade CAI's
