I was wondering what shell most people have as there does not seem to be alot of companies that make a shell for this size/trim Tacoma? Thanks!-Rich

IMO, the SnugTop SuperSport is the best looking and best built. But they're hard to find east of the Mississippi. They're easy to find in Cali, where they're built.

    hi rich,

im interested in a shell for my '07 trd access cab. i like the extra headroom that a hi-liner provide but i think that cab high shells look better. have you done any price comparisons? ....leer vs snugtop vs glasstite vs century?

The 100R Leer is about $1400 installed with headliner 12volt light and fold down front sliding window(makes cleaning easy)including tax. The Snugtop and the Leer 100XQ and 100Xl all run $1600-1800. I have a Leer now on my Ranger and it is great. They are all , your paint code match and they do not fade or change color. A.R.E. makes good(CX) ones too and about $200-250 less for the same setup. These are the primo lines well worth the money spent. I don't know about the other brands you mentioned , but Leer, A.R.E. and Snugtop have good sites with see thru views( see it on your truck) and availibility. The Tacoma Double Cab sizes are short bed 6ft and extra short 5ft. I'm sure they have the Access size in the fit charts. They also have a local dealer(zip code) info link. -Rich P.S. below are the links.....
