Air bag light

Snowing up here . Got into the truck and the darn air bag light is on .
Turned engine off and back on hoping to clear the light but that didnt help ?
Searched through a couple air bag posts and when guys are posting with this issue most guys are installing lift kits .
Any diagnostic procedure for an air bag light

 

Depends, is it solid or blinking?

 

Have you had the clock spring TSB done? That's one fix, when I had mine done, Toyota found that the drivers' side sensor was bad as well. Little over $100 to replace that, and no more light.

 

Same deal... They responses I got were to take it in to the stealership and have them look at it...

it may be a bad sensor or something wrong with the safety system...

 

Solid and illuminated on my way home from work . Solid light remained on after 2 ignition cycles in my driveway before I posted here .
After sitting in the garage all night , no air bag light on today ?
Is 2010 effected by the clock spring TSB ?
Sounds like 1 more thing added to the dealership list when I bring it in .
Sorta glad I got warrantee on this beast .

 

No warranty: Go to autozone, get the code read. Go from there.
Warranty: go to dealer. They will fix it.

The code will be in history, even if it isn't currently displayed. Just make sure you don't pull the battery leads before you take it in. That will erase all codes.
