    i have 2010 Double-cab, long bed, 4x4 sport, 99% stock. (1% = custom grill)

    • with the front passenger window rolled down, the seat-belt flaps frantically in the wind. (i clip it into place.)
    • i wish there was an option for black interior. grey gets dirty too easy. (The Frontier has black.)
    • the amber dash is boring. (yes, i know you can change it for a fee.)
    • MPG is 3-4 miles less than the sticker said.
    • no bed light integrated into the 3rd brake light.

I HATE the carpet! I wish there was vinyl floor, my truck is work truck and the carpet is nasty!

I wish my Tacoma would be 4wd, but thats my fault for not being able to afford 4wd.

Other than that I have owned my tacoma for 30k miles, currently with 151k miles and 0 mechanical issues!

I just traded in my 08 for a SuperCharged 2013 T-Force. It sits a little taller than my old one. I ran 32" MudHawgs on the old truck with no lift.....just stock 16in wheels on the TRD Off Road package. Does anyone here know if I can run 33" tires now since it sits 1.5 inches taller than the old Taco? Thanks so much!! -Mark

There is vinyl floor option and 4wd option. Me thinks you just drop the ball on those two.

run 93 octane, yes it cost more per gallon, but the amount of mpg i gained, it saves me in the long run, 87 octane i was getting 18-19 brand new to about 20 after it was broke in, with 93, i average between 21 (ac on in the summer, and a heavy foot) to 23 (no ac, windows down, and driving normal), i have the off road edition which came with a different seat fabric, i have yet to have to clean them after almost a year, and i work in a rather dirty machine shop, my past two cars, i had to clean them every other week to keep the seats clean, this is the light grey, and still looks factory clean!!!

If you drove the truck under the conditions that they do for their MPG test, you would probably get the sticker MPG. They are very conservative driving all vehicles for the MPG testing. And they do always say "estimated" MPG. The only thing I don't like on mine is that I spend too much money on it. lmao.

The wifes 2012 has a slight vibration when accelerating from a stop... researched and apparently it's the 3 piece driveshaft :(

I also wish they offered a factory sunroof

Rear leaf springs are pretty weak if you want to haul anything more than groceries. I fixed that though so it's perfect.

I didn't like the fuel mileage, was never able to break 20 MPG....got to 19.7 once,
driving the whole tank like I was scared of the truck.
Traded it for a 2012 VW Jetta diesel last week, filled up for the first time yesterday
(dealer filed first tank for me when I got it) and hand calculated 41.6 MPGs!
Haven't been driving it particularly easy either.

I don't like that its not a Honda Ridgeline. Or that it doesn't have a diesel that gets 40mpg and has 500 torques.

Hope you got an extended warranty - the HPFP in those tend to shred themselves. About $8k to fix if not in warranty.
