I just purchased a set of TRD Off Road decals. I noticed that the sticky is on the same side of left and right.
When applied, should the driver side and passenger side face opposite directions? Or is there actually a left and right decal?

    Two questions:

1: Would you want to read right to left and have the words be backwards? Of course they face opposite directions.

2: Does your truck have the TRD Off Road Package on it, and you are just replacing worn out or damaged decals? If not, that's about as cool as a V6 Camaro owner putting SS badges on their car or a V6 Mustang owner putting GT badges on their car.

Thankyou Lonecynic " Of course", was the incorrect answer...I'm putting new one on.

I would have thought that if I was standing in front of the vehicle and looked down each side, the decal would look the same.

No. Off road faces front on the passenger side. And off road faces rear on the driver side.

    Possibly a stupid question, but:

Why is the side of the RH side at more of an angle - 5.55" vs 5.83". ?

Thanks. I did look at that post. Since I am using factory decals I am trying to find a template like the one in post #7.

Use the diagrams above to establish your datum, then use automotive green painters tape to make your upper/lower lines. Unfortunitely, it looks like the decal needs to be visually centered between the left/right unless your willing to do a little math with the decal's overall left/right dimension.

Thank you. I just paid the $15 for two day subscription to TIS and printed out the factory specs. FYI you need to look at 2013 to see specs for 2012,13 years. 2014,15 are also different. Thanks again to all the info.

+1, why is the decal at an angle, and why do the slopes differ?
