body lift

anyone have one? if so u have any pics?

 

Body lifts suck. Get a real lift like replacement coilovers for the front such as Donahoe, SAW, Camburg etc. Or you can get the adjustable Bilstein 5100 series shocks with OME coils. For the rear you can get replacement leaf packs or AALs.

 

i totally agree with u. i am not a fan of body lifts i was curious to see how they looked on these trucks however. i had a 99 taco with 8" of suspension lift. i think i might go with a procomp 6" lift this time around.

 

I mainly use my TACO for show-n-go so a body lift is OK for me, though I agree that a suspension lift is good for 4x4 off road apps.

 

IMO, body lifts show too much of the frame.... looks like crap.

 

Yo humanoid! All it takes is a set of nerf bars to cover it up. Get the lift however you want. Any lift is good. Post up a pic if you have the body lift Gegundez. I wouldn't mind getting another 2" of lift on my Toytec if I could!

 

Only if you do something like a 4" body lift. The nerf bars are 3" around and would cover up any 2" you could get. Of course even I think a 4" would look stupid as hell!

 

body lift is fine for mostly on road dont go over 2in or i think it looks bad
