strange noise from AC heat

like always when you hear something and tell the mechanic its not there when you bring it in
I have a 2011 DCSB and when I put on the heat or AV and turn it to low or med I hear a noise like crickets. I don't know if I am just very annoyed by sounds or what but the noise seems to get louder when I turn to the right and to me nothing in the steering system should add to a noise in the heat AV system I think I have 2 real option pop my ear drums or drive with no heat or AV I vote for the first since I cant stand the heat in the summer

 

sounds like I may have to take the mechanic for a drive with me I got the extended warranty wonder if it will cover this

 

it should. i had mine replaced at like 6000 miles lol chirp chirp replacements been fine ever since
