2nd Gen Tacoma bed size vs. Hilux Bed size?

Does anyone know if the Hilux bed size is the same as the Tacomas? I found some interesting European truck caps that are made for a Hilux

that looks pretty cool! but unfort have no idea about the bed sizes

 

I'm pretty sure theres a guy on TW from AU that has a Hilux...

Conversion is...

Length~ 71.06 inches
Width~ 59.65 inches

 

I'm looking at a double cab so it's 1520mm = 59.84" in length. that's got to be close to the same size as the 2nd gen tacoma. I'll have to measure tonight. Do you think that's interior sizing? I'm assuming it is.

 

Give a truck that fast back look. Check out this model. Still need to figure out if it fits a Hilux Vigo, will if fit a tacoma.

Tacoma beds look to be abit longer than the hilux......

 

What is the overall top outside to outside dimensions? The Tacoma short bed is 63" [1600mm] long; 65" [1650mm] wide behind the Cab and 63" [1600mm] wide at the tailgate.

 

If it does fit, it might be too difficult to ship to the USA anyways.

 

you would get killed with shipping. us dollar is weak as hell so you would over pay for the cap. that sloped cap is awesome looking but you lose alot of space

 

Yeah, I think you're right. I'm trying to get a quote on it but I haven't heard. Might have to buy a full container of them to make it worth it. Group buy anyone? Probably too much work for what it's worth.
