Hey guys. Just found this site. Ive been on Toyota Nation for a while and finally decided to venture out.

I got a set of 20 inch rims from a buddy for dirt cheap because his truck got reposessed and he needed the cash quick. The tires that are on them now are Goodyear Eagle GT II. The size is P275/45R20. They fit the truck but dont fill in the wheel well enough so they look really small.

My question to anyone on here with 20's at stock ride height is what is the biggest tire you can fit without any rub? Also if you could post pics just so I can get an idea that would be great. Thanks in advance.

Great to have you as a member. My wheels are stock 18" X-Runner rims with a 265/40/18 and there is plenty of room. There are not a whole lot of people on here with that tire/wheel combination but hey we like everyone here. If you dont find the answer that you are looking for try XR Underground. That is where you will find more street trucks.

    Welcome!!

Had some the exact same size and tire that the previous owner had on and yes they will rub(only on the base model truck). They will rub through the plastic inner wheel well and begin rubbing a stabiliser bar which is metal(black coated). Local Discount tire in Waco said I could fit 31" tires with out rubbing according to their computer. I used to work at the local NTB in Waco and our computers recomended not to go higher than 29" but my Dunlops are 29.7" tall and they just barely touch.

I now have 235/75R16 Dunlop Radial Rovers and they don't rub. I even gained 1MPG went from 21 to 22 on highway trips if its a combination trip say 50/50 my fuel mileage goes down to around 16MPG. That is with 2TR-FE.
