Icon remote reservoir rear shocks mounting question

Do I need to drill holes in my frame to mount the reservoirs? I was hoping/thinking that there would be some existing holes, but didn't see anything.

when i had my FJ there was a bracket that mounted where the swaybar bracket and the fram meet

 

Any other feedback on this? The supplied bracket isn't angled, so it doesn't look like I can use and of the existing mounts either above or below the frame.

 

I think you have to drill the holes on the frame. No biggie really.

 

I had to drill.

I think I only had to drill on one side though, it's been so long I forgot though.

I know It's Taco Time just recently mounted his so maybe he will chime in or shoot him a pm

 

i just mounted mine yesterday i only had to drill one side i beleive i only drilled the passenger side

 

I used factory hole on driver side, I had to drill on the passenger side.


Really easy to mount. Total install time took me less than 1.5 hours.

Yea, I noticed it looked like there's a plug I can remove on the driver side and use that hole. Just wanted to be sure there wasn't something I was missing.

sorry man i didnt read enough. i though you where talking about the front coilovers..

 

I ended up drilling a hole in either side of the frame, mounted up nicely
