im going to be ordering a set of window visors very soon. i like the in-channel ones and both the avs and egr seem to look nice. i want something that is pretty low profile as i do not like the look of the big visors hanging over your windows. which brand do you guys recomend? the egr is a little cheaper but is it cheaper for a reason?

X2 on the weather tech ones. I would have bought a set of those but the dealer included a set of AVS with the truck so can't complain.

X3, the nicest ones out there, cost a little more, but the best usually does.

Bought Doublecab set on ebay & paid $40 with shipping. Not sure what brand, I think they are EGR. I doubt the brand matters, it is just some molded plastic. Heck for all we know some factory in Bangledesh is cranking them out for all the brands.

I've had mine for 3 years & no issues.

In-Channel is the only way to go!

I've got EGR's for mine. I do like them a lot but I'd recommend to keep a small brush or something to clean the channel and window-glass out whenever there's dust. The slightest dust accumulation will cause horrid grinding and scratch the glass. Not a big deal but it's something to consider.

Just ordered the EGRs through AutoAnything. They price matched Amazons price and gave free shipping so instead of $63 it came out to $48.... not too shabby

Looking for clear vent visors for my DC. The lightest I've seen for a Taco is smoke, but I have seen clear for other vehicles. Don't need or want the shading. Anyone come across these in their journey?
