Hello All. Bought my first Tacoma in May 08'. Talk about waiting...I fell in love with Toyota pickups after seeing the one in Back to the Future, and yes I saw it in the theater how many years ago. Looking forward to being part of this community.

I'm pretty sure I've seen your truck around town. It looks good. What kinda lift is on it, and who did it for you?

The lift was put in by the original owner who lives near Boston. Not sure what kind but the front is lifted slightly more than the rear. Still trying to decide if I want to level it out.

Ah, I was hoping you might be able to recommend a local mechanic to install one for me. :D

Will do. My buddy owns a local service station, and he recommended a guy, but I haven't talked to him yet. Then there's Leadfoot Linda's... I think they're pretty expensive, but I think it's owned by the guy that used to work at the old Lionshead Amoco. He used to do a lot of work on a co-worker's Jeep, and he always had good things to say about him.

I've heard good things about Leadfoot Linda's myself but don't have any 1st hand experience with them either. I think as a rule everybody is expensive around here...

I'm envious of your good skiing just down the road in Vail!! Was there for 2 1/2 weeks during October and fell in love! Went too early to ski this time though:mad:

We are truly spoiled living so close to so much great skiing. But if you plan a trip out here for that purpose wait until at least Dec 15th. Even though the mountain opens before Thanksgiving you never know what you will get.
