Sounds like you have a plan.

Kyle, I believe the grills are coming in tomorrow. Let me know when you want to stop by and pick one up.

Anyone really interested in seeing the coilovers get installed. I'm really itching to do them early.

yeah. It is. to be honest, the part i find to be the most pain in the ass is the rear aal. its not hard but takes so much rigging to get just right. When i lifted lents truck for him, the axle fell on me. kinda scary when you are under an axle, while under the truck.

thats why you only do 1 side at a time. and get 2 c clamps instead of just one like chris4x4 says. makes it a ton easier.

I am smart and use two ratcheting tie downs now. rap them under the leaves and over the frame. Super easy.

Yeah, Brian, I'd wait for help man. It's way easier that way...

You're just doing coilovers, not the rear, right? I got a whole new leafpack, so I didn't have to worry about it :D But we also had two floor jacks, so we could lift the truck and rear axle separately. Highly recommended! Same goes for a second floor jack under the LCA when changing out the coilovers up front.

But once you lift it, you'll need a lot of wood to stack under a floor jack cause most cheaper ones will be too short.

I got the 18.5" lift one from HF specifically to make sure I could still lift my truck. Best $80 I've spent ( I think they're marked down to $60 right now, or at least they were)

That works... I prefer to have my jack actually be tall enough. If there's anything I'm anal about, it's lifting a 3900lb vehicle properly before I get under it.

Also, just for reference, the $30 SUV jackstands at sears are also tall enough to hold my truck near the crossmember, even lifted with UCAs.

well just got my tracking number for my sliders!!!!!!!!!!! i am sooooo pumped. hopefully they will come in on time according to ups and i can get them powdercoated and installed before my world gets tooo crazy.

well now it looks like i wont be getting them powdercoated after all. the guy that was gonna do it is supposedly one of my best friends but is now trying to royally screw me over on it not just price but time as well. found out he is going to try to charge me double what it normally cost to do something the same size and is wanting close to a week to get it done.
