I was wondering if any of you could post any photos of side protection for their truck? I am wanting to remove my mudflaps and maybe put some type grip tape similar to type used for skate boards underneath to protect the vehicle from rocks flying up after I remove the flaps.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks!

I would think grip tape would gather alot of shit on it. Maybe look into 3M Clearshield, some people have used it in this application. It works great on the front of vehicles, should'nt work any less effectively down there.

yea was thinking about the clear stuff too. I was wondering though how well it would do with the rocks though. The sliders with filler plates are awesome, but a little too much for me this early in. Truck only has 2600 miles on it, and I just don't like mud flaps. LOL. True about the grip tape, was also thinking about the rhino liner material.
