i had thought the same thing...........but thats the correct way to mount them on first gens!! and i feel like a dumbass..........but i installed mine upside down back when i did mine. i blame it on beer and pain killers!!:D but truth be told...at the time...i didnt realize that they needed to be boot down on the install.

yep....gonna swap mine around and see if there is a difference in ride quality.........although it isnt going to hurt anything as is.

i'd leave the fronts alone...............takes away too much visibility im pretty sure. they do,however, have some "black" headlights on ebay.........kinda the same way the black head light mod is done on the 2nd gen tacomas. they look great.

Hi there, your truck looks pretty sharp with that lifting,i'm thinking on getting the same kit for mine (03 4x4 3 inchs/spacers/stiff and not happy about it)and would like to know how do you feel the ride on and off road,is it smooth, does it feels safe, what's your opinion about your billys, what i'm planning on to do is to get rid of the spacers and install a set of billys at 2.5 and somehow level the rear,at the beggining i was planning to get a set of fox coilover shocks but they are too price and that's why i'm considering a cheaper option,i'm looking forward to improve the ride on mine,I'll appreciate any info you can provide me according to your experience,Thank you!!
