St. Louis Meet

I am bringing my mountain bike, nothing special, but it works. I don't know about trails, I assume the trails are easy trails with scenery by the look of the maps of the parks.

So, we need to decide on a date. Sat Oct. 23rd or Sun Oct. 24th?

I can do either or, but who ALL CAN'T make it sat compared to who ALL CAN'T make it sun? This would be really nice to know. Anyway, we might just be better off picking a day and sticking to it and whoever can come that day will make it, and whoever can't, I'm sorry.

One thought: If we make it for sat, then we have rain out day for sun or vice versa. I'm always thinking if you can't tell.....

 

Not certain but may be in Houston, TX that weekend but will check back in and drop a confirmation if my schedule changes. Thanks for the effort and time spent putting it together. Used to do the same stuff with the Porsche club when I was really active and it always ended up feeling like I was trying to herd cats.

 

There is a couple pavilions inside the park w/ facilities. They may have to be reserved though. If you enter from Dorsett Rd. follow the one and only road and there are three maybe four pavilions w/ grills and bathrooms. The one just past the softball fields has a gravel lot across the street if we need overflow parking. They had a sand volleyball net up when I was there Thursday. I can look into making a reservation for the 23rd or 24th.
How many people are confirmed as of yet?

 

I'm down for either day. Someone call it and we can go from there.

 

I'm in for either day too. I might bring my volleyball, but for sure my MB, TacomaWorld stickers to hand out, chairs, and I'm going to smoke some chicken wings.

Someone does to take charge and pick either sat the 23rd or sun the 24th..... Who's going to do it.....

 

Either day will work for me. I have not been to the park, so I don't know places where we would meet.

Perhaps a new thread is in order.

 

should we post a new thread for the second meet? Maybe it would help. We need to set a concrete date, time, and place in the park so we can reserve a pavillion. Shall I do this guys and gals??

Fellas, its that time again. Lets get a meet together. The only thing that could stop me from coming, is that Ive got a baby boy due on July 9th.
