Yesterday I attended the Vermont Guard's ceremony honoring 3 Vermont Guard Soldiers who lost their lives in Afghanistan during 2010.

Specialist Ryan Grady, of West Burke; Sgt. Steven DeLuzio, of South Glastonbury, Conn., and Sgt. Tristan Southworth of Walden had their plaques added to the Vermont Fallen Heroes Memorial at Camp Johnson in Colchester, Vt.

God Bless their families and all who have paid the ultimate sacrifice or have been injured defending my freedom!
