I have had these in the garage for some time now and they need to go. They came out of a 98 Taco. Truck had manual hubs. Both in fine working order when I pulled them to put 4.10's in. Not the ideal gear ratio sought, but they would make great trail spares or just another set of diffs to start a new gear install with. Front has an ADD sleeve on it currently.

    (1) 8.4" Non-TRD rear 3rd with 3.58's & a used GOOD condition set 4.56's to go with it. - $100

    (1) 7.5" front 3rd with 3.58's - $100

    $150 for both.

Located near Bakersfield CA. I would prefer local pickup.

Yup, this is the front diff you will need. I actually did a conversion on my 1st Tacoma that was a prerunner. Not much use on this front diff since it came off of my other Tacoma that had manual hubs.

Yup, this is a 1st gen front diff. It doesn't have 4.10's though. It has 3.58's and yes it came out of a truck with manual hubs. Check out TTORA for your swap questions. Several have been done over there with some good write ups.

Almost forgot to mention Zuk. If you buy my differential you can take it to this guy www.gearinstalls.com (he's in phoenix) and have him do a new gear install and locker up front if you like. He's builds great differentials and his work speeks for itself. HIs prices are easy on the wallet. Lots of guys on Pirate 4x4 use him to install gears for big rockcrawler projects.

Hmm ok then sounds good. my only question is can I go back to manual hubs? swapping with ADD I think is supposed to be more difficult, me and brian pulled apart a 4x4 tranny to pull out the output shaft and we'll be swapping that in soon but this should be what I need and then I could find
    some gears for it.

Yes u can convert to manual hubs later. Manual hubs are highly desired and fewer trucks came with them so it will be much easier to find add hubs/spindles. ADD isn't hard to make work. Your truck should already have the vaccum pigtails under your fuse box. If so, all u need is some vaccum line, a 3 way rocker switch, the vaccum canister and the vaccum selenoid. When I did my conversion on my original taco, this is how I did it.

If u dont want to go thay route and u can find manual hubs/spindles/cv's, then all u have to do to make your ADD diff full time engaged is by putting a small amount of vaccum on the engage side of the vaccum lines and them crimp/ seal the line and it will stay engaged allowing u to use manual hubs in stock manner
