    Is this a bad gash? Will I be able to get by with this or should I get it patched? It hasn't gone through to the other side and it's about 2-3 mm deep

    Nah you can plug that... no problem. Any tire shop can help ya out. Sorry just saw its not all the way through... I wouldn't worry about it

    If it was the sidewall it would be a different story. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

    You should be just fine especially since it hasnt gone thru yet. I have used tire plugs on my tires before in a similiar spot and held up for a few thousand miles with no problems.

    While your tread is getting pretty thin and you should be planning on replacing soon, that little cut is not a death sentence for the tire and is nothing to worry about.
