Does anyone have good step-by-step directions on how to wire my third brake light for my topper, including what items I might need to get it to work, (coupler, etc . . .) Thank you in advance for any info you can provide!

^ x2, mine goes off when I hit the brakes and when the running lights are on so is the third brake light.

I don't have a step by step, but I can tell you what I did (I have the ARE MX Series). In the picture below you can see the white electrical coupler that powers the third brake light. I used a coupler so it'd be easy to remove the cap if I ever wanted to. In the lower left of the page, you can see a rubber gromet I used to run the wires to where the tail light wires are located. I ran one of the wires to a ground, the other I tapped into the brake wire.

Nightstr, it sounds like you have your wires tapped into the running lights, not the brake line.

If you guys need, I can get some more pictures of the install tonight.

I'd try autozone or advanced auto. It shouldn't be hard to find. Temporarily, wire nuts would do the trick, you just want something you can disconnect in case you want to remove the cap down the line and don't want to cut your wires. I'll get some pics up when I have a camera.

I tried to get some pics last night but my camera crapped out on me. Sorry guys, will try again once I get it working again (it's my gf's camera so I'm probably just doing something wrong).
