    same shit as everyone else
Just take it to a local off road shop and have them cut off your cab mount. It'll cost you about $80-120 and you don't have to add any more life.

i was chatting with a guy last night over pm's and he has a 3 inch lift and is running a 4.5 inch back space his tires are 315-75-r16! these look good! i was going to go the 285-70-17 route when i get my pro comp lift installed this dude jrod has some focking huge tires on his regular cab i think my truck will get more than 3inches of lift due to the 700lb spring rates. the question i have is will that size tire fit on with a 4.75 inch back spaced wheel in 17 or should i go with the the 16 inch trd tx pro wheel? i plan on minor trimming and heat gunning the rest of the plastic and possibly putting on a arb bull bar to make more room for the larger tires.

I am also looking to get new tires ect... After reading a lot of these rubbing threads, do you recomend I go with 275's instead of 285's? I will be either running a 3" lift, or just leveling the truck with billies.

Often over looked.... But Rules to live by when fitting bigger tires....

#1 Don't change your lift to clear tires, as soon as the suspension lift compresses they will rub again, If they rub at stock height, they will rub with a lift!

The More - offset you have the more rubbing you will have on the body mount.

THE #1 Over looked part of this... GET A PROPER ALIGNMENT!
Adjusting the Caster Forward a few Degrees can solve this issue quickly and easily, but I never see it mentioned on the forums.
