I mounted this one in my bed for my 60" Hi-Lift and I love it. You can bolt it on by removing the side cubby and rear cubby or power inverter and reaching behind to hold the nuts in place while you tighten it down. Plus it has a hole drilled into the mounting bolt for the jack so you can put a small lock on each mount after the wing nut goes on. It has a couple inches of clearance so you don't have to remove the head of the jack, too. Keep in mind you have to drill 8 total holes in the bed to install, which many don't want to do, but I love the security of this model versus the others.

    Got mine on Amazon.

I like to keep my bedrails free to use for other things, but it's a matter of preference. With the 4XRAC I have my jack mounted below the rails so I can still use the cleats, plus they attach on the top and the bottom of the mounts to eliminate vibration.

ATO's are worth every penny. No drilling and beefy as all hell. When properly tightened, it's a non-issue with are no bottom attach points - the weight of the jack coupled with getting the top snugly attached and you won't have problems. I just sprayed on a little plasti-derp and was ready to rock.

I just got off the phone with Kevin at ATO and ordered a set. I started to break out the welder and stock but just dont have the time to do these since i have way too much work and an over loaded honey to do list. Thanks guys for all your input hopefully I will see these by the end of the week.

    Thanks for the order!

Also as a side note, other than the area of the bed rails where the brackets are you can still utilize the cleats as well. There is enough room to even use them between the brackets over top of the hi-lift itself.

Why's that? I haven't had any problems with my 4x.

With the large washers I used, yes. I can flex the bed rail system with my bare hands, but my 4XRAC with those washers would take a sledgehammer to move.

Well, the bed rail is bolted to the bed not the bed being bolted to the rail. So my opinion would be that the bed is the stronger of the two.

The ATOs seem great, but I don't see why there's a benefit to switch now that you already have the holes drilled? You now have 4 less anchor points, limitations to bed rail use, and you have to run a locking cable for security. Seems like you downgraded.

If you would have started with the ATO, then maybe...

Gotcha. I'd buy the ATO one just to support Kevin since he's a good guy and makes quality stuff but I already have the 4X one and I just don't see any plus sides. My rail system is used up by my cover anyways.

I just hate drilling holes in my truck, after all I am getting ready to drill a 3-5/8" hole and five 3/8" in the fender alone if I can break away from the fam and work for a couple of hrs. ATOs just seem like a good deal to me that way you can always re-locate them.

Definitely. The ATO mount is great, no doubt. Versatile, easy to install, and very strong.
