I have a 2009 access cab base model with no holes in the back doors for speakers. Is the wire for the speakers still run from the factory even though there isn't speakers or will i have to run wire when I install the speakers?

    Thanks in advance...

Are your speakers in the ceiling like on the 2010?

Yup, the 09+ access cab have the ceiling speakers. 05 to 08 have them in the rear doors. The stock ones suck.....I just unplugged them to turn them off.

Debadged tailgate - Limo tinted windows - Sockmonkey bed decals - Fully custom upgraded stereo 9 speakers w/custom built subwoofer box 1200 watts total power - swapped white and blue LED gauges - integrated backup camera - removed front mud flaps - All interior lights swapped with LEDS
Here's what I did with mine. And my rears where in the roof too, just cut the wires to them and left em in the headliner. It was a good bit of work but i think it was worth it.

Wow, that's a nice set-up. I've posted before that I put in JL Audio components in the front doors, 2 amps, and a 10" sub. The ceiling speakers are cracking and popping.

Do you have those rear speakers in addition to the door speakers?

I bet that would sound amazing.... Mine sounds super nice, just not loud and nice :)

Kristonex - I'm looking to do the same, but without the second set of tweeters. Do you have any instruction or advice? Are the speaker holes already cut out for the door frame? Any advice on cuttng the hole in the door panel? Taking off the panel to get to the where the wire conduit goes to the access door? Thanks!
