    I had 10000K hid headlights and fogs at 35W. I figured I wanted something brighter so I went and bought 6000K headlights and 4300K foglights both at 35W. I did half the truck 10000K and the other half the new stuff and honestly I think the 10000K is brighter. Can anyone help me out here. Is the new stuff going to be better or should I keep the 10000K?

    10000k? so basically purple... 4300k is pure white, it will be the brightest, with 5k and 6k behind it. higher the number, the more blue/purple it gets..ie less bright

    10000K is bright blue. And the 4300 I got actually look yellow.............. So you guys are saying stay with the 35W 6000K and 4300K?

    --- ive been trolling through the LIGHTS section of TW n i cant find any info so maybe ill try here.

    i just bought an HID kit 8000K 55w, installed in one car. n i currently have installed HID 6000k 35W in tacoma, wanted to upgrade to 55W ballast only. so why would all 4 of the ballast flicker like im looking through a fish tank? i was thinking how could it be possible that all 4 of the ballasts are bad at the same time?
    they would flicker then stop. then one would flicker then the other n vice versa like they were challenging who could piss me off the worst so as causing me to take a baseball bat to my head lamp.

    any thoughts?

    ummmm wiring them to the battery??? they already are. thats how they get power right? idk, i dont remember the wiring diagram. they are from HIDgeeks.com -lame ass shit!

    so should i also make a "T" tap wire from the battery to the ballast? --and also leave the main HL connector still plugged in. its a simple fix i think.

    Sounds like you have a set of low-only HIDS- grabbing a relay set hooks the ballasts into the battery directly, instead of drawing power from your stock H4 connectors. The H4 connectors turn into nothing but on/off switches
