    -hids(just ordered from ddm tuning)
-the front skid plate thing(not sure what its called but i see it mostly with pro comp lifts)
-exhaust, nothing crazy but something that is decent rumble
-throttle body and intake(or stuff to boost hp a bit)
-custom license plate (6 letters) help me choose a plate name

    Jeeper Creeper
    -amp research power steps
    $422 used from Amazon http://www.amazon.com/AMP-Research-...2L77EE7U53NWQ&s=generic&qid=1310748929&sr=1-1
-the front skid plate thing(not sure what its called but i see it mostly with pro comp lifts) (Many options here, if you have a Pro Comp DB lift I think you need to use their specific skid)
-exhaust, nothing crazy but something that is decent rumble (Magnaflow has bolt on kits that sound good or just get the Tacoma TRD one)
-throttle body and intake(or stuff to boost hp a bit) (Skip the throttle body, if you need a sound box intake just get the Toyota TRD model)

Just dont put on a flowmaster. I have the Wicked Flow 13" 2.25" and its not bad(i want a lil more rumble), but im gonna wait for my headers before i swap it out or eliminate the tail piece in case the headers really change the sound or adds rasp. Replace your airfilter with an AFE pro dry S or K&N if your biased. Throttle body spacers are more for cars with carbs.

honestly.... nothing really. theres small things than can give you a pony here and there, but headers and s/c are really your only options..

Thanks man, and thanks for your tips. I am wanting stuff to be useful and I'm wanting cosmetics as well. I've always been a "looks" person. But now that I'm going to be going offroad, I need functional things too

What are some good mods for going offroad?

Well for wheeling the best mods are 1) Protection 2) traction, at least thats my point of view. You need to protect before you can get yourself out there!

So I would recommend sliders for sure over the AMP steps! Especially since your lifted so high, if you ever need to change a tire your SOL unless you got sliders and a hi-lift jack.

Skid plates, not really sure which one to go with just look around and ask members questions about theirs!
