.....from the flush valve. I've changed gaskets/seals but it still keeps dripping from the threaded area on the bottom. Almost like the hole pictured is to big to be sealed. Any ideas??

Pretty sure you could just get tank but if it is cracked , others are sure to follow (meaning once toilets/sinks ,etc start cracking theres no way to stop them from fracturing)

Make sure the tank is tightened down completely to the bowl. You may be able to buy a tank separately but you might have to go to a plumbing supply shop. The box stores usually only sell complete toilets.

Yeah, I did. Then I took it outside and put it on some horses to mess with. No luck.

Own a plumbing company. Get some recta seal, buy a new seal, don't buy anything from home depot or lowes that stuff is crap. clean both sides of the surface and put the rectaseal on and then put the gasket on and crank it on, but not too hard or else you'll shatter it.

Hitch and wiring, aux back-up light, rear strobe lights, radio and underseat sub.
3m's 5100 sealant will stop leaks. Just make sure everything is dry before assembly. It'll be a bitch to take apart again. West Marine carries this stuff.

dumb question, but I am assuming you already tried replacing the flapper? I had a flapper just "rot" and let the toilet run. The stuff at HD and Lowes didnt fit, so I had to go to Blackman and get a special flapper .. but it solved the problem.

That's the first I checked. It's definitely leaking where the flapper assembly mounts to the tank.

did you get the OEM flapper, or a generic one from HD or Lowes? I know that some generic "universal" flappers dont seal well. As luck would have it, I had to order the OEM one from a plumbing supply store.

Whoa sorry, I misunderstood the problem, I thought it was where the tank met the bowl. Don't do that then. That's really odd. Maybe try try ptting something around the lip to even it off, it seems like there might be a chip or some thing that's keep it from laying flat on the bottom.
Let me know how the toilet mod goes :D

IF THE TANK IS STILL ATTACHED TO THE BOWL, FILL IT WITH WATER TO THE WATER LINE. GET SOME FOOD COLORING, RED, BLUE, GREEN. PUT SOME INTO TANK. STIR WATER TILL IT IS ALL COLORED. CHECK UNDERNEATH FOR LEAK. MAKE SURE THE GASKETS ON THE TANK TO THE BOWL ARE ON CORRECTLY AND THAT EVERYTHING IS SEATED. WHEN TIGHTENING DOWN TANK TO BOWL MAKE SURE YOU TIGHTEN EACH SIDE THE SAME AMOUNT. CHECK TANK FOR LEVEL.
    HOPE THIS HELPS...
IF YOU HAVE TO , BUY A COMPLETE TOILET.
JUST SO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU BUY AT THE BOX STORES IS NOT THE SAME AS YOU BUY AT A SUPPLY HOUSE. THEY ARE DIFFERENT.
