Shit I just remembered I was going to attempt to change the lower ball joint on the drivers side but it was becoming too difficult and decided to take to a shop this weekend. I did manage to give the ball joint 3-4 good smacks with a ball joint separator and a 3lb bfh with not results but an even more leaky seal
and yes i did remove the retaining clip on the ball joint prior to BFHing :(

Could the BFHing really cause that much damage on the ball joints to create vibes, and if so why only when I accelerate

Did some more searching but could not find anything that would cause vibes under acceleration, any thoughts

Sorry, I know this has nothing to do with your problem but could you post a side picture of your Taco? I'd like to see what it looks like with the 1.75" front lift and no back lift. Thanks.

The pics with the TRD stickers and pinstripe is old setup of BFGs and Revtek spacers, I removed pinstripe and TRD sticker on new setup of 5100s all the way around @ 1.75 up front and 265-75-16 Hankook tires. Sorry for the dirty truck, its been to hot here in San Antonio to wash a black truck without leaving streaks

Alright here is the update...Had upper and lower ball joints replaced, tie-rods replaced, sway bar end links replaced, got tires road pressure balanced and still have cabin rattling vibes!
So I called down south motorsports and they said there could have been a spacer put on the pinion shaft mount (were the 2 piece drive shaft meets) and that would cause vibes. Anything else I should look for while I'm down there

My 2 cents. When you took out the rear blocks it changed the drive line angle enough to start these vibes. This means that some one probably put a carrier bearing spacer in to fix the vibes from that original lift. I would get under there and try to find this spacer and take it off.

Yes it was a carrier bearing spacer that DSM said could be potential problem

I was already going to buy new motor-mounts and trans mount as well to start diagnosing the problem by process of elimination. But def start with checking for carrier bearing spacer so I dont have to keep putting money into this thing :D

It did not have a spacer, but I knew it had to be drivetrain. So i took it to a trusty driveshaft shop and sure enough the carrier bearing was toast as were the ujoints and balancing. Got it all fixed and now its running vibe free ;)

It was so annoying that I plan on keeping it at stock height for the remaining life of the truck to prevent anymore damage...or at least that is my decision for now ;)

With my new truck, I do not plan to make any suspension changes to.

I will add on other things though! What is the largest tire we can put on stock height?

this happened to me when i put on my 3" lift and it just got worse and worse the angle of my driveshaft got steep and then overtime i broke a U joint and cracked the driveshaft so i had to replace the whole thing i would say try shimming or something along those lines and if nothing works then i would check the dealer maybe?? hope i help.

Hmmm! This is why I'm only going with what you have now, except Eibach's for 1.6" or so up front - TSB's rear. Then maybe 275/70/17's on 17x8's 4.5 BS. That may have to wait a while. I want to make sure everything is good before new tires. Glad you got it fixed, sounds like you had it nailed when you mentioned all the play in the CB/Driveline.

I feel the front 5100s calling my name for at least one notch raise (0.85")
Biggest tires stock are 265/75/16s, that is what I am running now with just a little rub lock to lock.
