URE went great. I walked up Daniel and all the other trails with no problems. Once at the top of Daniel (last trail before we left) I went to turn around to winch my buddy, who broke a idler arm, I popped a damn CV. So other than that it was a good day, plus we were able to get my buddy fixed up and back home ok.

 

You broke a CV yesterday man?

 

Yeah, but one of the perks of working at Carquest is the warranty program
3yrs/36k miles on a set of CV's. When I told my boss man how it happened he just laughed and told me to get another one, the warehouse can take care of it. Me, Matt and Jeff got it swapped out tonight

 

It was right there at the top of daniel. I was backing up a hill to face down the mountain to pull my buddy up and I guess all the pressure was on that front right tire and POP! Thank god for manual hubs!

what are you running for a lift? i have a 3 1/2" coilovers for the front from toytec lifts that i havent installed yet. i want 33's but idk if they will fit. do your tires rub? did you have to cut or trim anything? thanks

 

I just trimmed the inner fender and the only time I rub is with the wheel turned hard and flexing a good bit

 

What brand/model is the touch radio

 

Its a Dual. I cant remember the model number off the top of my head. It's been a great radio

 

I bought some black headlights/corners from 01tacoprerunner this past weekend. I went ahead and put the headlights in, I'm having to paint the trim on the corners to match the truck. So I went by the local paint shop and they mixed the factory color and put it into a spray can, along with some clear coat.

Here it is with just the regular corners in

 

Got everything paint last night. I was a lil worried about the clear coat not drying right. When I woke up this morning I was pleasantly surprised to find that it dried to a perfect match. These things turned out alright.
