anyone use autocad?

    Another thing, if you dont want the viewport contour lines to show on the plot:

    - make a new layer
    - draw the viewports on that layer, or change them to it
    - after drawing all vports, and scaling, etc, freeze the layer, that way the viewport lines wont print....

    toss autocad

    get archicad..... :)

    no go. i dont even have that option. i tried to make a pline into a viewport so i could make my own shape, but autocad would have no part of that.
    oh well. maybe you can only do it on later versions.


    autocad is great for 2-d. ive been using it since 1996! once i started the electrical trade my usage dropped 95% though. once in a while we will get a drawing that i have to make. i am the only one that knows autocad so its a little job security :)
