bilstein boots?

I was looking at wheelers today and noticed the front bilstein 5100s didn't have boots with them. Do they need them? and is there anywhere I could find some?

 

The boots protect the silver bar (no idea the actual name) on the rear shocks. On the front shocks, its enclosed by the aluminum body of the shock housing.

 

I may be wrong but it doesn't look like it's inside the shock housing:

 

You don't really need it. Some members had problems with it, and it's kind of expensive...
It's more of a precaution- I don't run a dust boot on mine and havent had any problems

 

I just wouldn't want to buy them, ruin them on a run, and then have to buy another pair. I would be going with the 5100s to save money compared to the OME shocks.

 

Can kinda see it through the coils, but this is how I run mine..

 

I wish my wheel well was that clean!
