i bought my 2010 dcsb o/r for 25,ooo brand new from toyota of tampa bay on fletcher. I think it was 27 and change out the door with 0% financing. That price on an sr5 sounds high. My truck is a prerunner

I might be dealing with them on a similar truck. Depending on how much they give me for mine.

My bad I thought the sr5 went cheaper than 24k. (prerunner). I went through usaa so I really didn't pay much attention. My wife gave me the budget so thats what I spent. I stand corrected maybe thats a good price? Sounds like someone else did better otd on the same truck I have.

Use the Overstock.com pricing for the new vehicle and hammer them on the trade.

I negotiated them off of the Overstock.com price by about $200 and they gave me $1,500 over NADA on my trade.

They need the business, it would appear.

    Sorry dude!! Just saw this.

Did you do the Overstock.com pricing beforehand? Go on there, price it out, fill out your personal info, get the Certificates in your e-mail and call him. Tell him you have a guaranteed price on Overstock and you can go to any of the three dealerships on the Certificate, or, he can go ahead and give it to you for that price and get some business.

Trust me, they'll do it, you just have to pressure them. If he won't even meet Overstock.com ($23,917) he can go fuck himself - you'll be able to get it elsewhere.

Hell, if you want, I'll meet you up there this weekend and we can play the good cop, bad cop deal. Just be sure to pring the Overstock.com printout with you. He'll remember me when I get up there and we can use the price he gave me mine for as ammo. :D

Here is what I am seeing on Overstock for what I believe is the truck you're looking for...

    I would walk in asking for $24,500 OTD or it's a no-go.

    That's just my opinion.

you have a couple variables you are missing in your quote. tow package and zip code (taxes) are two off the top. original offer was good. i just bought the exact same truck(yes even the tow package). the quote he is getting is pretty close to what i paid.

He didn't mention the tow package in his original post and the zip code is accurate (at least down to the correct county) but that is irrelevant as this price does not include taxes. Thus my suggestion of walking in asking a little over this price OTD.

The salesmen are there for you, you're not there for the salesmen.

hey everybody, I really appreciate your help, and fink, your offer to meet me, that is very kind of you. Yea, the price I have for 26500 otd included tow package and alloys. I believe before ttl, it was 24,2XX. After trying to negotiate with almost every dealer in Tampa, I think I'm going to try and pick up a used one. They do seem to be very expensive still...

That price may be good, but the photo does not match the information. The photo is of a TRD Sport (ie: hood scoop, matching front bumper etc...) The info only says SR5 PKG#2

I just now saw this - they don't have a picture of every trim level.

They have a pic for the Base model in every cab configuration, and then a TRD Sport for the others.

I saw your for sale post in the Florida Classifieds thread - I would consider the topper if it was Silver Streak.
