is there any visual height difference between a 2 inch leveling kit and a 3 inch suspension lift?

Depends if the 3" suspension kit is lifting the rear as well .

The 3" suspension lift is an inch higher.

All asshattery aside, that that 1" difference is noticeable, especially since the back isnt lifted at all with the spacer leveling kit. (assuming the back is lifted)

Stay away from spacers if you can though

EDIT: damnit OZ. Did it really take me 3 mins to type this?

i knew it was an 1 inch higher in the front and possibly the back, just didn't know if it was a big enough difference to upgrade.

A leveling kit does just that , levels the truck .

A suspension lift doesn't necessarily level the truck , for instance if you lift 3" in front and back , you will be 3" higher but with the factory rake

I had a Ready Lift leveling kit for the front of my 04 D-cab and their 1" block under my rear factory leafs. The leveling kit raised the front 2 inches. I added the block to the rear, as the leveling spaces had the front higher than the back.

I just recently replaced my rear leafs with the Alcan 5-leaf packs and put Toytec coilovers and LR ucas on the front. The new leafs lifted the back about 1.5" inches over stock. The coilovers lifted the front 3" over stock. To answer the question, "Is there a visual height difference between a 2" leveling kit and a 3" suspension lift?"--yes. I can tell the difference between the two on my truck. I am getting it aligned tomorrow. I will take some new pics of it after I get it back and post the before and after pics.

alright, since then i have installed a 3 inch lift and i'd like to know if the lift kit gave me a "true" 3 inches. measuring from the ground to the fender it's 38 inches in the front and 39 in the back.
