converting a trd sport to ram air

    leer 700, OME 885 w/dakar springs, full ato skids, sliders, all pro front bumper.
    i was thinking about adding a ram air to my 2011 sport pkg. wondering how to go about it and how much it would cost. any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Seriously though, its not worth it. The skewp is in a low pressure area. Search around, theres lots of threads regarding this issue.

    search around the site this has been brought up many times..

    the scoop is a low air pressure spot, so its pretty much pointless.


    EDIT: just read the post above mine.... pretty much said the exact thing lol my bad

    If it does it's probably an immeasurable amount (even at speed), I wouldn't count on it though. I would do some exhaust work to help your SC though since you have a snorkel for a reason.

    trd sport with avid off road light bar, avid rock sliders. OEM roof rack, 12' LED light bar, and Sock monkey decals.
    dont do it, even if you can get it to work: one there will not be enough air coming in. Two you will collect alot of dirt and crap in the air or off the road.

    All I have to say is look at the shape, it's designed to have air go over it not in it. Looks good, imo yes, can it be turned into a performer, imo no.
