^Agreed, your trying to hold 3 other leafs with one short one. In time the aal will sag or the other leafs will break.

Exactly what my 04 looks like. I should have purchased a new set of leafs before installing the AAL. It was a bitch of an install with an outside temperature around 115 degrees. Required a case of beer, several bottles of water, lots of cursing, and a bit of prayer. I'd hate to have to do it all over again.

Did mine at home. But some ppl have different experiences. Mine was pretty easy. Did my whole suspension in about 5 hours. I had that exact combo for about a week or so before i added an AAL. i was just under 3'' of lift i think..maybe 3.5..With the AAL i put me over 4''

Yes. I did it myself, but there are a couple tricks. Check out JDMCQ's write-up on this site, I believe it is stickied under the 1st gen how-tos and DIY thread, along with links to some other sites on the same topic. Have a ratchet strap, prybars, and possibly an agnle grinder for seized main eye bolts. And PB Blaster. Other than that, it is all jack, jack stands, basic tools, and a torque wrench.

Bassmaster wins by a mile. Those are even worse than MTGirl's were before my group buy:

Mine were average, but still worthless ride-wise:
