255 bfg mud terrain

whats up fellas, being that this is my first post because i just joined, WHATS UP EVERYBODY! anyways, i found some BFG mud terrains on craigslist for $280 and only have 2k miles on them... I have a 3' lift and am currently running with 265 65 17 terra grapplers on stock TRD rims. Was wondering what you guys thought, if i should pick those up or it would look funny on a smaller yet taller tire? oh ya btw, the BFG's are 255 75 r17 and would keep my current rims on there...

That is a great tire hands down in my book. For that price , the recent spare I bought ran $114 w/o shipping. True I run a bigger tire, but I am impressed with them.

Can you fit 255/75/16 on stock wheels? Without wheel spacers, I think I would need new UCA to clear the taller tire but I don't really want spacers or new wheels? Sorry for jacking your thread!

 

you can actually fit a 265/75/16 on the stock rims without changing the uca's fine. I had them on mine before i had my lift. No rubbing or anything.

 

ya u should be able to bc i fit a 265 on my stck rims and plus i have a bigger brake caliper on the trd.
