    So I have spent hours searching the forums and reading reviews and I am still undecided. I have limited my options to Yokohama Geolander A/T-S, Firestone Destination A/T, and Bridgesone Dueler A/T Revo2. I'm sticking with the stock size, 265/70R16.

    I drive my 2005 4x4 V6 Taco daily in north carolina, (~6 miles rount trip) on side roads. I do a little highway driving, but not weekly. I use the truck to haul various loads that can be heavy (gravel, mulch, home construction projects, etc). Haven't done any off roading, nor do i plan to do anything crazy, but i do venture to the mountains of western NC often. Also use the truck in the winter to drive northern PA. I'm currently running the BF Goodrich Rugged Trail T/A and i'm ready to try sometime new.

    There is a price gap between them, which is part of the reason that this is a tough decision. Prices below are from tire rack and include the road hazard warranty:

    After reading all of the threads, why isn't the Hankook Dynapro ATm in the list above?

    265/75-16 also fits a stock truck, no rub, and gains you 1/2 inch more ground clearance (plus makes your speedometer accurate)!

    I've had the firestones on my ranger and they were great tires! when i bought my tacoma a couple months ago it had brand new general grabber at2's on it and i love them! have you considered the grabbers?

    General Grabber AT2's.... look at them. Aggressive shoulder, great warranty.., happy with them. At least give them a look....
    GeauxTigers is spot on... I have put them on a Taco & a Land Rover and will buy again for sure....

    Thanks for the feedback everyone. I decided to go with the Firestones since they had great reviews and I was able to get over to Firestone today and have them installed. I stayed with the stock tire size, 265/70R16. They look great and handle much better in the rain than my old tires (Its been raining all day). Ended up costing $800 OTD including alignment.
