You don't want to get rear ended so you brake suddenly, trying to get rear ended?

It's like saying you dont want to fart, so you order a 3x scoop of the beans

I'm in no way defending tailgaters. They are asshats as well. but just because they are being an idiot doesn't give him the right or reason to be an idiot back. Law says don't speed, don't tailgate, don't hit anyone, but if people are speeding past you, tailgating you, etc. get out of the way for the general safety of the road.

Then you SHOULD know better.......but don't. Natives drive slower tha those who move here from the north. Its the biggest complaint I hear from those who move here from elsewhere "It's too slow here, people are backwards" Well go the fuck home!!! I moved here because I LIKE the people AND slower pace, I like the Southern way of doing things. They work to live here and only as much as it takes. LOL I like that. They don;t drive fast. They are not in any hurry to get anywhere...

HUGE difference from San Diego,, Las Vegas and NJ all places I have lived over 10 years and did not care for ,

fun stuff coming soon! New battery, radiator and CV joints and axles. Added some Rancho RS5000 shocks.
so your saying your intentions are to kill some one for bad driving, or following to close?

my scenario was 2 on 1...it was for self defence to even out the fight, but im not going to take their life for it. are you kidding me? and my story wasnt for you, it was more the "good 'ol boy southern thing" (even tho im female) and its saying you dont exactly know who or what is in the car behind you

have you ever thought of emergencies? i know this isnt the case 98% of the time, but what if they have someone seriously hurt or worse in their car and are trying to make it to a hospital bc an ambulance is going to take to long? and you wanna be a dick and brake check them and not move over...

All I have to say is this:
KingFrog, you are pressing your luck by break-checking people. Some dude did that to me once. I locked up my brakes in order not to hit him. It absolutely enraged me that I passed him in the center divider and kept yelling at him to pull over. I now, am glad he didn't pull over because it would have been very bad for both of us.

You have been lucky to not break check some lunatic who you enrage and rams you off the road, shoots at you, etc. Or even slams on his breaks behind you, swerves to miss hitting you, and hits a friend or relative of yours driving in the same road and kills or severely injures them... Just think about it dude.

Someone that wants to pass you has to get close to you. If they stay back, you'll assume they are fine where they are. If they want to pass, they'll get close enough for you to realize they want to pass, and you should move over and let them go. Now if someone is being a dick and is right on you from the get go, either it's because they're a dick, or because you aren't moving over. If they are simply being a dick from the get go, then let off the gas so you slow down significantly until they get pissed off, they'll likely pass you on the right and be on their way.

I'm not condoning speeding. I simply quoted that section of the Law. It was not refering to the speed limit but the speed of the flow of traffic at that time and place. If the flow of traffic is 15mph above the speed limit in the fast lane, wouldn't a vehicle driving at the speed limit in the fast lane be considered a hazard?
Lol. Again, I'm not condoning speeding, I just quoted what it actually says. It makes no reference to the speed limit in that section.
