Good day at the range!

65 degrees, light wind, nice and sunny out this morning. Started playing around with "free recoil" technique and got some good groups out of it. Several 5-shot groups right around 1/2" at 50 yards. 0.497" center-to-center was my best. Also my best ever out of this gun.



Edited to add: the bottom center group is a 10-shot group because I pulled the 5th shot, so I just strung it out to 10.

My setup - Savage 22 LR, Sightron rimfire scope, Harris bipod, Blackhawk cheekpiece and SWR Spectre suppressor (silencer).


And then I threw the suppressor on the Buck Mark and had some James Bond fun.

 

Looks fun! I'll have to wait another couple of months for 65° weather....
