    Is plasti-dip a mod?
Been doing some research...trying to come up a lift/leveling solution for my new truck. Would like to keep the whole project under 5 or 6 hundred so I can afford some slightly beefier/bigger tires for now. Not seeing any solutions on the sites...I'm a total Tacoma newb (2 days in my driveway) and I'm not sure of the difference between a 2011 and a 2012. Any advice will be appreciated.

pretty sure there is no difference between 2012 and 2005-2011 Tacomas when it comes to suspension. so whatever you read that's for 2nd gen Tacomas should work for you.

i had a 2011 and now a 2012 (right price :) ) only difference is facelift stuff, front end, cd player, gauges, etc...

as far as a lift for under 5 or 6 youll probably have to go with what everyone else does, 5100s and an aal

i was sold on the OME route for my old truck but ended up doing 5100s and wheelers progressive aal since ill be on the highway more than in the country now :( i moved from SD to linconln, ne. lame. . . but yeah, thats my input on a level/lift for cheaper
