    Just so anyone who is planning on duracoating knows there is a 6 week curing process, I would recommend cerakote it's reported as being stronger and since it's baked on you don't have a curing wait time

    Yea duracoat is fairly touchy for the first couple weeks, I've done one of my knives with it. Will be spraying another soon but its not an edc so not a big deal

    Please excuse the crap photos -- hard to catch some of the details. I did this ghetto with some 6 dollar bbq paint -- so far I've got over 1.5k rounds through it. I toss the gun in the back of the truck, its been dropped on the ground, and the paint is still pretty strong. I cleaned the thing up real well with some chlorinated brake cleaner to remove all the oil and crap before spraying.
