I like the long bed too! I have the short bed, works for me, didnt want the long bed because of the non E-locker. Wanted all the offroad options i could get. I live in the city though and the short bed is better for me. The long bed looks way sicker lifted in my opinion! Both have there pro's and con's!

gonna have to change my name ....iwant1 no longer applies. Picked up my first Tacoma yesterday. Had to drive 300 miles to get the one I wanted.....but it was worth the drive.

I cannot figure out how to insert pics directly into a post. I know how to attach...and I am not sure how to insert.

Can anyone dumb it down for me so I can add pics?

You need to put the pics on a file sharing website like imageshack or photobucket. Then copy the direct link they give you. Then when you're typing a post, there is a small yellow box icon, with a mountain on it. Click on that and paste the link in there.

Or instead of clicking on the yellow icon, you can just add image tags to the URL.

    Example: [ IMG ]www.google.com[ / IMG ]

    Do that without spaces.

I have saved pics to my computer, right clicked to copy, then pasted into the post. Works most of the time.

If I went with a double cab I would do the long bed. I love the look of these trucks with a lift. Worried about not being able to get a TRD Off Road with a E-locker?, just plan on getting an ARB Locker which would give you arguably a stronger rear end and you would be all set!

false, everything else being equal a longer wheel base will ride smoother.

^^- They are right man, the long bed and tube steps don't make it nice anymore...they make it Bad Ass. DCLB FMFW and the black tube steps are awesome.
