I'm looking at picking up this set of rims for my silver '08 Tacoma. Naturally the tires will be thrown out but what do you guys think about these wheels? The price is very good, the wheels are 16x10, 3 months old and the rest is up to you guys! Let me know!

I was going to get the same rim but all black. Are those the Procomp 8089? The reason I ask is because I was going to get the 7089 in a 16 inch and after talking to Procomp they had told me that they do not make a 16 inch rim for the Tacoma. The reason is something to do witht the brake caliper.

I know there are a lot of people that have Procomp rims on here in a 16 inch with no issues so not sure why Porcomp says that now. Any how I am just trying to save you a headache. Make sure they fit before you make your purchase. I hope it works out for you, good luck.

Looks great! What size is your rim?

Thanks! I'm not sure which it is. I'm looking at getting this through Craigslist and it just says Procomp Xtreme. If I end up getting them, I'll let you know!

Mine are 17x8 with 4.5 back-spacing, and I don't have any issues with caliper rub.

I'm no expert, but I think a 10" width would be too wide for our trucks.

Yeah I was told the 17 inch rim is fine. Its the 16 inch rim that there seems to be a rub problem.

10" is a very wide rim. What size tires do you plan on running on those?
