Does anyone know if there is a way to adjust the back up camera that came on my 2011 TRD Off Road. I wish it was pointed slightly higher, allowing me to see approaching vehicles, or more of the road behind me, rather than a money shot of my tailgate. I know there are several of you that have added the camera, or a lovking tailgate, and I'm just looking for a little help on the OEM camera.

I'd like to adjust the camera so that it displays what is in the red box on the image. Any Ideas?? I searched but couldn't come up with anything on here...

No one? Someone's gotta know if it can be adjusted. Am I gonna have to take the tailgate cover off to find out?

Looking at mine, it looks stationary. Unless you want to tear it apart and modify it, you're SOL. Did you do an anytime mod on it? Mine only works in reverse.

What about using the camera for directly behind your bumper, and your mirror for approaching vehicles?

    I'm...just...saying...it's.....right.................there. ;)

I'm not saying that I don't want to use my rearview mirrors. Rather I feel like it's just more of a wasted space where I could just get more viewing area by adjusting the camera. I was just curious if there was a quick and simple way to adjust it, not change whether or not I use the rearview mirror.

Since it is looking like it is made out of one piece it doesn't really matter anyways.

I put 2 washers between the camera and the mount on the upper bolt . It angled it up just a little. Not enough in my opinion, but thats about as far as I wanted to push it.
