    Hi all,

I'm new to the forums. I own a 2011 TRD OffRoad double cab with the short bed. I am thinking of installing a BakFlip G2 however the drainage tubes concern me. The existing holes in my bed are only about 1/4 inch in diameter (maybe even an 1/8). The drain tube for the BakFlip are 7/8 inch. Has anyone worked around fitting these into the bed without drilling it?

If so, some links to the mats needed would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!
    Ryan

Go to Home Depot or any supply place and get brass 1/2(or 5/8, i forget) to 1/4 adapters.

This way you dont need to drill the holes in the bed at all and the tubes drain. I have this setup and it works perfectly

You guys rock. Thanks! I just can't bring myself to drill holes in a new vehicle.

Rear camera anytime switch, 4x4 Illuminated Switch (from rcbs204) , rear view mirror lift bracket (from ImMrYo), 75 cent tailgate anti-theft. Technically not mods but give me a break I'm trying to fill space here... OEM Leather pkg, keyless unlock & ACC chime silence, BakFlip G2, Ultra Gauge EM, WeatherTech floor mats, OEM roof rack
Now you make me feel bad for drilling the holes in mine! :D Just installed the G2 a couple days ago.
Don't forget to take those size adapters out if your cover is removed/open for a while so the bed can drain normally.

I've currently got a Access Limited rollup on the AC that I'm trading in this week for a DC. I'm intrigued by the BakFlip. Is it that much better than the rollup?

I wanted something that's rigid to stand up to sitting outside in the winter for 12 hours gathering snow/ice/slush. Wanted to be able to plastic-shovel or brush it off without damaging it. It's not the only rigid folding one out there, but it looks nice, folds up completely and protects the window if you need full bed access.
