Saturday Nov 5th I decided to take Black TNT out for a run. Heard about a place north of Napa, CA called Knoxville Recreation Area, (map) it's 17,700 acres with various trails off the main road and plenty of camping options. After spending 6 hours out there we only came across three people!

Based off of the NWToys Trail Rating I would say most trails would be rated 2.5-3.5 with a few 4 rated trails there.

The trails were narrow and if you value your paint... I'd not recommend heading out there. There will be some serious buffing in the 4Runners future!

The 4Runner did very well and I only had to engage the locker/A-Trac once (and it was needed). I have no suspension mods done to the 4Runner I definetly tested the durability of the stock engine skid plate.

Did bite off more than I could chew once. There was no backing up and turning around so it was hoping for the best outcome with no body damage.

And not without a little carnage.

the south end gets pretty muddy but the rockier trails arent too bad ... this is my backyard .... also theres a couple big ass puddles on the western trails once you head up on the ridge past hunters creek camp
