Ordered thru Leer authorized dealer specifically for that model.
They require non refundable 35% deposit.
2011 = you ordered it your stuck with it.

ordered it with a ladder rack, came without.

 

Take it back to the dealer. Sounds like the ordered the wrong model. My ARE does overhang and cover the top rails of the truck, but it does not stick out 1/2" on all sides. If you ordered it new, the dealer should take care of it.

 

My Leer 100RCC hangs about 1/4" over the bed caps on each side and the front .

If they ordered it without the rack I would send it back , in fact when my cap came the factory had drilled the rack as though it was being mounted on a shortbed , the crossbar mounts were only 4' apart instead of 5' .

I told the dealer I wouldn't be satisfied with that and they sent it back , no hassles .

 

Non-refundable doesn't typically include a dealer screw up. Call Leer and verify the part number they sold you. If it's wrong then put boot to ass.

Could just be the way it is, too. My truck had a Ranch topper on it when I bought it. It hung over the sides and front.

 

x2, non-refundable is just to protect them since they're ordering a shell for you and money is being spent on their end. If they screw something up, it's still their responsibility to fix it. I don't know if this is your first shell or not but they will be a bit wider than the bed rails. Just the way they're made in order to get that nice, snug fit.
I don't have any really good pictures of it, but you can kind of see how much mine overhangs. Is yours more noticable than this?
