New Tacoma to be shown in Detroit

I checked out one of those colorado's at the local dealership, I'll be interested to see what they bring to the table. It's about time!

 

Hopefully a newer V6 and I4 with more power and efficiency!

I also hope they dont ruin the look

I've seen plenty of spy photos of the new Hilux, but only a few photos of a test mule of the new Tacoma. I'm a little worried this will be just an update like they did with the Tundra.

 

They went RETRO with the bumper?

I bought a 2015, but i like buying established generations also. If a 2015 was the new generation, it would have to have something extremely worth it for me to buy it. Same reason i didnt wait for the colorado/canyons when i was looking to buy my truck two months ago. In 2-3 years, when i still have max trade value, both tacomas and colorado canyons should have some history. But thats just how i operate, i dont always have to have the latest and greatest.

 

My 2015 will henceforth be known as the EARLY 2015.

I'm sure the gen 3 wont be out until 2016, and most likely be riddled with problems like the 2005's were.

but not necessarily as well, the 2016 test mule was built off of a gen 2 tacoma, so it may be a fairly similar update to the 2014 tundra.
